Description: This is a 8 hour shift five days each week, with the shift schedule being from 07:30 AM - 16:00 , total of 40 hours per week. Hours. Nuclear Medicine Tech with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 2 professional references. Location: 1915 Lake Ave., Plymouth, IN, 46563. . The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $55.69/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $40.86/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr.\nSummary:
Department: Nuclear Medicine
Shift timings: 07:30-16:00 Monday to friday (8 Hours/5 Days)
Per Week: 40 Hours
7:30-4p days/ Mon-Fri (& EOW if needed) Weekend call 7a-1p, Saturday & Sunday morning ARRT (N) or CNMT PACS, EPIC, Nuc Trac

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Internal Medicine Missouri state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
- One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.
- Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning.
- Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
- Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department.
